Islam began with the life of Muhammad, who is considered the last prophet in Islam. Muhammad’s teachings, received in Mecca, formed the basis of the Islamic faith. His messages spread rapidly, leading to the establishment of the first Islamic communities. After his death, the early Islamic empires, including the Rashidun and Umayyad Caliphates, expanded rapidly, uniting vast regions under Islamic rule and eventually leading to the achievements of the Abbasid Dynasty.
